![]() ![]() If all else fails, you can just delete the Falloutdefault.ini, the game creates a new, fresh one when you restart the game. The button comes in handy when a new mod you add ignores the existing.ini files, it pretty much just points NMM back to them again, if the mod tries to make.ini changes, and can't (because they are set to 'read only'), if I remember right. You'll know right away if you did it right, or, if it isn't active. Archive Invalidation Invalidated has a whole run-down on how to do it, and even has (had) the lines posted in the description (easy to copy), I seem to remember the original Archive Invalidation page did too, been a while. And I use NMM myself, so it's nothing to worry about, when done properly. Making the changes in the FalloutPrefs.ini file is the simplest way to make sure archive invalidation sticks (copy/paste), then make the.ini 'read-only' and save it like that, that's what I've done for over two years now, never had any real problems with it.
